Meet the Team.
EWAN SMITH
Ewan is the owner of Strattons. He has
been building the business up since it
started in 2006.
Ewan takes care of the day-to-day
running of the business – taking phone
calls, as well as working in the work
shop. For the past 15 years Ewan has
worked in the motorcycle industry, giving
him a vast knowledge of this
business. Ewan also spends a lot of
his time running the two websites –

MIKE CARLIDGE
Mike Cartlidge joined Strattons
Motorcycles six months ago.
Having worked in the motorcycle
trade as a mechanic since 1971, Mike
has pretty much worked on all types
of machines, from today’s super bikes
to machines dating back to the 30s.
Mike is no stranger to restoration
work on vintage and classic
motorcycles, and can carry out wheel
building, cable making, alloy polishing
and bead blasting. Mike is also
involved in scooter tuning, repair and
service work.
Over the years Mike has worked for
many multi-franchised dealerships,
gaining a wealth of knowledge along
the way and has a keen eye for
getting the job done right.
MIRIAM POORTVLIET
Miriam has worked at Strattons
Motorcycles for the past three
months.
Miriam does a range of tasks at the
business, including answering the
phones and dealing with the admin
jobs.
She also makes sure the shelves are
stocked up and processes the
internet orders.
